In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players exploring the vast planet of Koboh will inevitably encounter the mysterious Alignment Control Center. While many adventurers focus on the seven terminal screens in the main room, another intriguing mechanic involves the spinning wheel cylinders located in the adjacent chamber. Understanding how this spinning lock mechanism functions and where to locate the facility is essential for players aiming to fully master Koboh.
Where to Find the Alignment Control Center Location
The Alignment Control Center is located underneath the Untamed Downs region on Koboh. Players can reach this underground facility by navigating toward the central rock formation facing Rambler's Reach Outpost and taking an elevator down into the subterranean structure. Fast traveling to the Alignment Control Center Meditation Point allows for easy access once you have unlocked the area.
How the Spinning Wheel Mechanism Works
Past the main Meditation Point room lies a chamber featuring large horizontal spinning stone cylinders. Many players attempt to solve a puzzle here early in their playthrough, only to find the controls inactive. These spinning wheels are strictly linked to campaign progress and main story milestones rather than standard room puzzles.
Stopping the Spinning Wheels and Campaign Progression
To lock each spinning cylinder into place, players must advance through the game's core story arc. Each major confrontation with Dagan Gera or activation of the Koboh arrays progressively stops one of the rotating rings. Trying to force open this mechanism prior to achieving the necessary story progress will prove unsuccessful.
Unlocking the Upper Elevator and Facility Rewards
Once all three spinning locks are permanently stopped near the end of the campaign, the path forward becomes accessible. Players can then use the elevator in this chamber to reach the upper control level and proceed toward late-game objectives. In addition, completing all Jedi Meditation Chambers across Koboh allows BD-1 to slice the terminal in the monitor room, granting a map upgrade that reveals all unfound essences and upgrades across every planet.
